As I sit here writing this, desperately hoping I could/should/would plan Creamfields this year, I am reminded that I was able to YOLO last years event a mere seven days before the festival began. Talk about your crazy experiences. Armed with a super cheap cattle class plane ticket, a backpack, and a hope, a prayer, and a lot of luck… I left the U.S. for one hell of a surprisingly incredible yet extremely muddy festival. Out of all the festivals I hit in 2018 (there were many) Creamfields stands out among the rest for sound quality, production quality, crowd, and what I like to call the “excitement factor.” Nowhere else can an old school American party kid see all their favorite DJ’s play in one place, and play the set I EXPECTED them to play. I have to tell you guys, the secret is out… it is just done better in Europe.
I’m not hating on U.S. Festivals mind you. We have SO MANY OPTIONS for great ones… but if you are looking to get the most bang for your buck, and travel outside of the U.S. Creamfields should get your direct attention. Can’t afford Tomorrowland? NO PROBLEM! Creamfields has delivered a top-notch lineup that will have even the casual electronic music lover salivating. Creamfields is a MUST attend festival for die hards. You have to want it. It is MUDDY. It is a lot of walking. It is WORTH IT! I am LIVING proof.
Take a look at the breakdown of artists by day below, and consider this absolutely wet, wild, and wonderful festival for August. Tickets are running low, and they’ve announced a limited number of Friday Day and two-day (Friday & Saturday) tickets, but with many tickets already sold out, they won’t be around for long. Grab yours here and avoid last minute YOLO and FOMO because I will admit… I should have given planning this my absolute full attention last year.
