Following this month’s releases of “Stay On My Mind” from Mark Farina, Homero Espinosa, and Dani Siciliano, along with “Do It Right” from Groove Armada, Om Records continues its 30th anniversary celebration with the arrival of “The Sunshine” from Colette, Richard Earnshaw, and Kenny Summit, out today, January 30. The single is one of several featured on OM RECORDS – 30 YEARS, a milestone compilation set for release on May 8, 2026.

On “The Sunshine,” Om Records’ first lady Colette joins forces with seasoned producers Richard Earnshaw and Kenny Summit to deliver a radiant, feel-good house anthem built for emotional release and dancefloor uplift. Anchored by warm grooves and shimmering production, the track blossoms around Colette’s unmistakable, sultry vocal as she declares, “Today I know I can find my way into the sunshine,” turning the record into a moment of pure, hands-in-the-air catharsis.

“I’m excited to share my new release, ‘The Sunshine,’ with Richard Earnshaw and Kenny Summit,” says Colette. “It’s dropping on Om Records as part of their 30th anniversary, which makes this one extra special for me. Om has played a major role in my journey as an artist and continues to influence how I make music. We put a lot of care into this record, bringing our sounds together to make something that honors where house music comes from while still being present in today. I’m so grateful that I get to celebrate this milestone with Om. Being a part of the Om family has been everything to me.”

Long before labels like Dirtybird, Experts Only, and Monstercat helped define new eras of dance music, there was Om Records. With more than 800 releases across three decades, the San Francisco-born imprint has weathered seismic shifts in both the music industry and the world at large — from 9/11 and the dot-com crash to the rise and fall of downloads, global recession, a pandemic, and ongoing political turbulence — all while continuing to champion forward-thinking dance music. OM RECORDS – 30 YEARS stands as a testament to the label’s legacy as one of America’s first and longest-running dance music institutions.

For Colette, the celebration is deeply personal. Since finding her creative home at Om Records in 2005, she has released some of her most beloved work on the label, helping define its soulful, vocal-driven house identity. Standout releases include “Feelin’ Hypnotized,” “What Will She Do for Love,” and “When I’m With You,” her iconic collaboration with Kaskade. With “The Sunshine,” she not only honors that history but helps carry Om’s legacy forward — one glowing dancefloor moment at a time.
