Cheat Codes, the multi-platinum producer trio behind some of the biggest dance-pop anthems of the last decade, have officially announced their milestone album, Future Renaissance, set to arrive July 25th. In celebration, the trio dropped a thrilling new single, ‘Human’, featuring acclaimed singer-songwriter LP—a euphoric and heartfelt anthem released just in time for Pride Month.

Human’ is a cathartic, high-energy track that fuses emotional vulnerability with an explosive dance-pop groove. Layered with LP’s signature, soaring vocals and Cheat Codes’ slick production, the song captures the collective desire for release, resilience, and reconnection. With lyrics like “We’ll be dancing till the hurting’s done / We’re only human,” it’s both an anthem of pride and a message of hope—making it a fitting soundtrack for Cheat Codes’ upcoming headlining performance at Brooklyn Mirage during the country’s largest Pride Festival on June 28.

Trevor Dahl of Cheat Codes adds a personal dimension to the release, sharing that the song carries special meaning due to his brother Johnathan Dahl’s activism and role as co-founder of The Gay Beards, a project rooted in LGBTQ+ advocacy and visibility.

Speaking on the collaboration, LP said, “When Cheat Codes sent me the track, it already had this incredible energy—I just wanted to match that and bring something personal to it. It was all about capturing a feeling and letting it flow! I’m honored to be a part of it.”

Celebrating a Decade with Future Renaissance

Slated for a July 25 release, Future Renaissance will mark Cheat Codes’ fourth studio album and a full-circle return to their signature dance-pop roots. Featuring a diverse and star-studded cast of collaborators—LP, Izzy Bizu, CeeLo Green, and Kenny G among them—the 14-track project follows the trio’s bold genre experiment into country on their last album, which featured a groundbreaking collaboration with Dolly Parton.

The new record signals a vibrant evolution, combining festival-ready beats with the emotionally driven songwriting that first put Cheat Codes on the map. Singles like ‘More Than Anybody’ and now ‘Human’ offer a glimpse into the project’s feel-good, genre-blending energy.

A Global Run of Performances

Cheat Codes are currently riding high on a packed 2025 schedule, including performances at Miami Music Week, the EDMA Awards, Academy LA, and Echostage DC. They’ll hit Brooklyn Mirage on June 28, followed by a European summer tour with a major slot at Ushuaïa Ibiza, and a fall tour across Australia and Asia.

With over 6 billion streams, the group has become one of the most enduring crossover acts in dance and pop, with past collaborations spanning Demi Lovato, Little Mix, Lady A, Blackbear, Travis Barker, and Icona Pop.

LP’s Continued Ascent

LP, known globally for the chart-topping hit “Lost On You”, continues to dazzle with a voice that transcends genre. With over 1 billion Spotify streams, and songwriting credits for Rihanna, Cher, Christina Aguilera, and Céline Dion, LP brings unmatched depth to ‘Human’. The collaboration arrives on the heels of LP’s 2023 project Love Lines, and ahead of more new music coming this fall.

With Future Renaissance, Cheat Codes are honoring their past while boldly shaping the future. With tracks like ‘Human’, they’re not only celebrating a decade of music—but also amplifying voices, communities, and the unifying power of the dance floor.
