The track quickly gained popularity, especially after being featured on Trap Nation, where it accumulated 515 million streams—surpassing notable tracks like Marshmello’s “Keep it Mello.”
The song’s official music video, reflecting the bitter message of its Punjabi lyrics—”Don’t be proud of your money, as it will never satisfy you”—has garnered nearly 130 million views on Axel’s YouTube channel. Additionally, it has 113 million streams on Spotify, with total streams exceeding one billion across all platforms.
To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of this iconic track, Axel Thesleff has curated a diverse lineup of artists from three continents for the remix album. The milestone album will kick off with Axel’s VIP remake of his hit track “Bad Karma” on August 16th.
