Cincinnati is set to welcome Fall Out Boy, Run The Jewels, Girl Talk, The 1975 and Greta Van Fleet for Bunbury Music Festival this summer. Now in its eighth year, takes place May 31st – June 2nd at Sawyer Point Park and Yeatman’s Cove.

In The Importance of Being Earnest, the1895 play written by Oscar Wilde (for which the festival is named), he describes “Bunburying” as the practice of getting out of social obligations by making up a fictitious person with whom you have plans. After seeing the amazingly eclectic, genre-tripping lineup, we may just have to do some Bunburying of our own this summer!

Other notable rock and alternative artists include Stone Temple Pilots, Dashboard Confessional, AWOLNATION, Sublime with Rome, and personal favorite ClutchMachine Gun Kelly and Lowry will join Run The Jewels to hold down the rap category, while Piegons Playing Ping Pong are set to bring the funk. Pop is also well represented, with Great Good Fine OK, SHAED, Flora Cash and Poppy scheduled to perform.
