When you are a type A planner like me, you tend to set goals. Sometimes they are achievable goals, and then along with those come bigger dreams. I always had a goal of attending the largest electronic music festival in the US. Once you achieve a goal that monumental to your life, as I did, you start to think about dreams. Are my dreams attainable? The end of Festival Season is a great time to start your list for next year. My personal bucket list dream is to attend Tomorrowland. It is time to turn that dream into a goal. I can think of no better festival in the world that I would be interested in attending. Tomorrowland is not just a festival; it is a totally immersive experience. One I would very much like to stamp my passport for.
Typically, I am a lineup girl. I choose festivals partially for the experience, but primarily the lineup. There is nothing more exciting than seeing all of my favorite artists at one venue. The festival itself has always come second for me, that is until I had the great pleasure of attending my first Electric Forest. Tomorrowland will be my second attempt at letting go and literally just going for the experience. Now that I have conquered the US festivals that I wanted to hit, I am setting my sights on Boom, Belgium. If the universe provides, this will be my second European festival. I can’t think of any other festival I would rather attend. Tomorrowland is not just any festival, it is THE bucket list festival.
Last year’s theme was “The Story of Planaxis.” To be completely honest, I’m wasn’t even sure what that meant, but it sounded like one hell of a great time. Livestream made it look like a lost city of Atlantis. If you haven’t marked your calendars yet, the dates will be announced closer to January for the 15th Anniversary.
Why so late? Tomorrowland excited the world with the announcement of their first ever Winter Edition, held in the French Alps March 13-15, 2019.

The lineup so far hosts such heavy hitters as Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Joris Voorn, Kölsch, Lost Frequencies, Martin Garrix, Nervo, Steve Aoki, and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano with more to be announced.
So now I am scrambling to figure out how to hit both destinations in one year? My poor wallet… but something tells me… it’s going to be worth it.
