Genre-fusing producer BRVMES unveils his latest single, “DOOM,” out now via HypnoVizion. The release marks his first solo outing on the label curated by REZZ, further cementing his place within its shadowy, forward-thinking sonic universe.
“DOOM” unfolds like a cinematic descent, where resonant cello lines weave through sharp, metallic synth work. The track shifts between tense, brooding moments and expansive, driving passages, creating a sense of constant motion and emotional weight. Each layer is deliberately sculpted, balancing orchestral drama with industrial-leaning electronic force — a combination that fits seamlessly within HypnoVizion’s dark, immersive catalog.
“With ‘DOOM,’ I set out to merge my orchestral past with the heavy electronic sound I gravitate toward now,” BRVMES shares. “The cello has always held a dark, resonant beauty for me, and I wanted that brooding texture to collide with a big metallic synth. Bringing those two worlds together felt like the most honest expression of the tension that drives the new sound I am bringing into 2026 that I want to see more of.”
Having lived and created across France, Chicago, and Los Angeles, BRVMES draws from both French electro traditions and the raw energy of U.S. warehouse culture. His hybrid style has led to collaborations with Lucille Croft, TINYKVT, and Malixe, as well as remixes for WHIPPED CREAM and HELLBOUND!. His catalog also includes releases on Welcome Records and Synesthesia Records, reflecting a steadily expanding footprint across underground electronic scenes.
In 2025, BRVMES featured on REZZ’s album As The Pendulum Swings with the track “HOW I DO IT” alongside Dillon Francis. He’s also set to support REZZ at her upcoming tour stop in Houston, Texas on January 31, bringing his dark, genre-blurring sound to the stage. With “DOOM,” BRVMES signals the start of a bold new chapter — one where orchestral tension and electronic weight collide with striking precision.
