BLOND:ISH’s trailblazing Bye Bye Plastic Foundation has just announced a major new partnership with West London’s standout venues, Gallery and B Club, officially launching on June 19 with a special performance by BLOND:ISH herself at Gallery.
Focused on reducing single-use plastic across the music and nightlife industries, the collaboration marks a pivotal step for sustainable club culture in the UK. As part of the initiative, both venues will now donate £1 from every glass bottle of water sold directly to the Bye Bye Plastic Foundation, aligning clubbing with climate-conscious action.
“Creating a greener future through the music industry and nightlife is really important to us,” said Barth Rougier, founder of Gallery and B Club. “We’ve already eliminated single-use plastic from our drinks service, so partnering with BLOND:ISH and Bye Bye Plastic to help drive awareness and implement new sustainability measures was the natural next step.”
For Bye Bye Plastic, this partnership is the latest in a series of bold moves to reshape how the music scene interacts with the planet. “It is genuinely rewarding to gather the support of dedicated players like Gallery & B Club,” said Camille Guitteau, co-founder of the foundation. “It shows we can get loving & caring fuel from right within the industry, and create a virtuous impact circle for People, Planet & Party.”
The Foundation has already seen strong results with its Zero Plastic Club program in France, where 24 nightclubs pledged to eliminate plastic water bottles, collectively preventing more than 10 tonnes of plastic waste annually. Bye Bye Plastic is now working with the NTIA UK to bring the program to the UK, with funding efforts currently underway.
Another major initiative from the foundation is the Eco-Rider, a green touring protocol that over 1,500 artists have signed, including Pete Tong, Idris Elba, Ben Klock, and Ida Engberg. The aim: make sustainability a standard part of every artist’s rider.
This summer, BLOND:ISH also makes history as Pacha Ibiza’s first-ever female resident, curating her ABRACADABRA party series across the season. Her performance at Gallery on June 19 promises a signature set filled with euphoric, high-vibration sounds that align perfectly with her planet-forward message.
Having already established itself as a plastic-free venue, Gallery has quickly become a key player in London’s underground scene since opening in March. With a 360-degree DJ booth, cutting-edge sound system, and capacity for 400 dedicated music lovers, it’s hosted names like William Djoko, Miguelle & Tons, and Jaden Thompson, with Seth Troxler, Pete Tong, and Nic Fanciulli still to come.
With this bold new partnership, Gallery and B Club reaffirm their position as leaders in music and environmental consciousness—proving that dancefloors can be both loud and sustainable.
