“Higher” sets the stage for the release of BLOND:ISH’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Never Walk Alone, just weeks away. With its entrancing vocal repeating, “You take me higher, baby,” the track embodies BLOND:ISH’s vision of bringing the world closer to Happy Happy World—a utopia of sustainability, inclusion, and joy.
In line with her unwavering mission to eliminate plastic from the music industry, BLOND:ISH is taking a monumental step with the album’s BioVinyl release, set for February 14, 2025. The BioVinyl pressing, a pioneering achievement in sustainability, uses biogenic waste like used cooking oil to produce vinyl records that are 99.98% petroleum-free and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 90%. This initiative, born from her #PlasticFreeParty movement and foundation Bye Bye Plastic, marks her first-ever vinyl release and serves as a bold example of eco-conscious innovation in the music world.
