Bass Camp Presents Taco and Tequila Festival

by Eric Valencia

As Bass Camp Festival revs up for its marquee, fan-favorite electronic event in Wingfield Park on the Truckee River this weekend, plans are underway for its next big event, the Taco & Tequila Festival. Taking place at J Resort’s Glow Plaza in Downtown Reno on August 17, the event will feature a headlining performance by pop and hip hop sensation BBNO$– hailed by Rolling Stone as “A Viral Pioneer” and named one of 2020’s “Breakthrough Artists of the Year” by HipHop Canada.  Additional , include DJ and producer Wüki and duo Good Times Ahead.

This all-ages, all-day, all-night celebration serves up an unbeatable blend of musical performances, entertainment, culture, and…food. Any self-respecting taco festival has to come strong with the food, namely tacos, as the Taco and Tequila Festival will feature multiple taco stations throughout the venue, offering diverse styles and flavors from local chefs and food trucks. Foodies and fans alike can wash it all down at one of the many margarita stations, tequila flight tastings, and bars. Additional activations will include a pro-wrestling exhibition, with surprise guest appearances, Mariachi bands, kid-friendly activities, and more.

All Taco and Tequila Festival ticket levels, including General Admission and VIP, are on sale now starting at $45 before fees. The VIP Experience includes an elevated viewing area, access to upgraded bathrooms, a private bar, and tequila tastings. Admission includes reentry access to allow guests to explore all the J Resort offerings.
