Bad Boy Chiller Crew Unveils New Single ‘Divine,’ Signaling a New Musical Direction

by Press Release

Bradford’s finest, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, are back with a fresh sound in their latest single, “Divine,” dropped on 6th September. Departing from their signature UK Bassline vibe, “Divine” introduces a more mellow, yet infectious house beat, showcasing the voices of Gareth “GK” Kelly, Kane Welsh, and Sam “Clive” Robinson. Produced by Tactics (known for hits like “BMW,” “RAINS IT POURS,” and “DON’T WORRY ABOUT ME”) and Scott Lowe (collaborator with Franky Wah, Becky Hill, and Tiesto), the track draws inspiration from Michael Bibi’s tech house smash, “Hanging Tree.”

“Divine” follows the release of previous singles “Catch Me” (featuring MC Chippy and the young rising star MC Cruzy T), “Driving Season,” and “Tidal Wave.” Their extensive discography also includes the 2022 album ‘Disrespectful,’ home to the chart-topping track “BMW,” and their 2020 debut album, ‘Full Whack No Brakes,’ which introduced the world to their breakout hit “450” featuring S Dog.

Initially known for their comedic and prank videos on Facebook, Bad Boy Chiller Crew stormed into the music scene in late 2018, earning acclaim for their unique bassline/donk-influenced style. Named one of The Guardian’s 50 new artists to watch in 2020, the group further expanded their fanbase with a six-episode reality series on ITV2 in 2021. Their album ‘Disrespectful’ even landed a spot at #10 in The New York Times’ Best Albums of 2022 list.

With “Divine,” Bad Boy Chiller Crew embarks on an exciting new chapter, solidifying their position as one of the most dynamic acts to emerge from Yorkshire. This unapologetically working-class trio is primed to take the world by storm.
