AVAION Channels Dancefloor Euphoria and Inner Healing on New Album TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY

Music for dancing or for dreaming—depending on how you’re feeling—has long been the guiding mantra of electronic artist AVAION. His records hit with equal force in sweat-soaked clubs and solitary headphone moments, blurring the line between communal release and personal reflection. On his second album, TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY, the multi-platinum German producer deepens that duality across fifteen tracks, embedding healing and happiness sound frequencies into every chord progression to quite literally design music with emotional uplift at its core.

The album’s title was born from a fleeting moment on the streets of Berlin, where AVAION captured a voice note of two strangers discussing why they do what they do, arriving at the simple yet profound conclusion: to make people happy. That sentiment mirrors his own artistic philosophy—one that resonates most powerfully on the dancefloor, while remaining open enough for each listener to project their own story onto the sound.

Opening track “WAY YOU SMILE” immediately sets the tone. Airy vocals and a weightless bassline ease the listener in before the record detonates into a rapid, kinetic drop built for peak-time release. It’s a three-minute journey that balances emotional vulnerability with euphoric abandon, embodying the album’s central tension between introspection and release.

Sonically, TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY refuses to be boxed into a single genre. “COLORS” drifts between deep house and electro-pop, while “NEED ME” flirts with liquid UKG textures. Elsewhere, darker, minimal techno atmospheres shape “BERLIN,” grounding the album in a nocturnal, urban mood. Despite its stylistic range, every track is unified by AVAION’s unmistakable sonic fingerprint.

The album also gathers standout releases from the past year alongside a wealth of unreleased material. These include the viral Afro-house hit “WACUKA” with Sofiya Nzau, which has surpassed 100 million global streams, the sultry collaboration “SLOWLY” with RANI, and the long-anticipated fan favorite “HOLD ME AGAIN.” Together, they form a body of work that feels both familiar and forward-looking.

Warmth and texture run through the album thanks to sampled drums, lush chord stacks, and hand-shaped basslines crafted on analogue hardware. These organic elements are fused with future-facing sound design and modern processing, maximizing emotional impact while preserving a human touch.

Where AVAION’s 2024 debut album Selfreflection focused on defining his sound, TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY captures that sound in evolution. The record is deeply shaped by two sold-out European headline tours performed in his signature 360° live show format. Those nights—where energy flows freely between artist and audience—became what AVAION describes as moments of “body and soul feedback,” with crowds acting as co-composers in the album’s DNA.

Fans will get their first chance to experience the album in full at the official release party at Festsaal Kreuzberg in Berlin on Friday, January 23, 2026. From there, AVAION will take the project on the road with the TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY Tour 2026, launching in April and visiting major European cities including Munich, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Paris, Vienna, and Warsaw.

TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY, AVAION’s new album, is out now via Sony Music, standing as both a celebration of collective joy and a deeply personal invitation to feel—on the dancefloor, in your headphones, and everywhere in between.
