From one coastal destination to the next, Armin van Buuren is turning it up along the east coast in the US. Last month, we saw him put on a show full of energy during Miami Music Week at STORY Miami. Next month sees the trance legend putting on a show at HQ2 Beach Club in Atlantic City.
Now that festival season is in full swing coming off of Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival, Armin van Buuren is back in touring mode. Miami saw several performances from the head of Armada. One of the most memorable of those events was his set at STORY Miami. Beach vibes meet night club atmosphere for a wild night of music spanning from party-starting big room to full-on uplifting trance. Once the lights went dim and the intro, ‘La Résistance De L’Amour’ queued up — we knew that we would be glued to the dance floor for the remaining hours of the night.
It was a night where all we did was dance to trance.
Armin wasn’t the only one there turning up the heat that night. He also brought special guests, Lucas and Steve who co-produced the new record, ‘Don’t Give Up On Me’, with Armin and Josh Cumbee on vocals. That night was the first time this track was played live, but you never would have thought so with the way the crowd reacted by throwing their hands in the air as if a well-known anthem had just come on. After getting the club fired up with plenty of club bangers, Mr. ASOT really got things going with a slew of tracks which prove that Armin is NOT afraid of 138! It was an unforgettable night and I wish I could hit replay and live it again.
Luckily, we can do just that! Armin van Buuren will be joining us during Memorial Day Weekend at HQ2 in Atlantic City. This time we get those same beach vibes, but with a day club atmosphere. The trance legend brings his legendary DJ skills poolside for us to enjoy a day full of great music and chill, beachy vibes.
