“I wanted to make a hard jungle track for live use,” Arky Waters explains. “At the time, I couldn’t find much jungle that really bridged the gap between hard DnB and something more traditional. I love the chaos and old-school energy of jungle breaks, but when you play them alongside modern DnB, the energy can dip. The goal here was to keep everything intense — straight adrenaline. As I get deeper into electronic music, I’m starting to think of tracks as tools to tell a story within a DJ set.”
