AR/CO, the dynamic duo of singer-songwriters Mali-Koa and Leo Stannard, return with another powerful collaboration, teaming up once again with electronic music titan Don Diablo. Their latest single, “Solar Eclipse”, is out today, September 27, via Helix Records. You can listen to it here.
“Solar Eclipse” is their second collaboration following the massive success of “Hot Air Balloon”, which has racked up over 85 million streams on Spotify since its release on Don Diablo’s 2021 album Forever. The new track features Diablo’s signature heavy bassline groove and crisp production, coupled with AR/CO’s infectious energy, delivering a cosmic anthem with lyrics like “Dancing under a Solar Eclipse / It doesn’t get any better than this.”
In a joint statement, AR/CO shared their excitement about the collaboration: “‘Solar Eclipse’ felt like a straight groover and Don knows all about keeping a record fresh and laid-back. It’s cool to collaborate again, he’s always down to shift things into a world of his own sonically. After how loved ‘Hot Air Balloon’ has become, we knew we wanted to do another song when the timing was right. ‘Solar Eclipse’ is late warm nights, long drives, and dancing with the people you love.”
