Anjunachill Announces Inaugural Compilation ‘Anjunachill 01 (Mixed by Above & Beyond)’

by Press Release

Anjunachill is proud to unveil the first entry in its new compilation series, ‘Anjunachill 01 (Mixed by Above & Beyond),’ set for release on March 3, 2025. This highly anticipated compilation will also be accompanied by a limited-run six-track vinyl sampler.

The Anjuna family has long been synonymous with chillout and downtempo music, a journey that took a monumental turn in 2014 when Above & Beyond delivered an impromptu sunset yoga set on the iconic Robot Heart stage at Burning Man. This transformative experience inspired the creation of their landmark yoga and meditation album, ‘Flow State’.

Following the success of ‘Flow State’, the label deepened its dedication to ambient and downtempo music with the release of ‘Reflections Vol. 1’ in 2020, officially launching Reflections as a standalone label in May 2022. With a rich history of chillout classics, Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats have long showcased atmospheric gems from artists like Above & Beyond, Andrew Bayer, Cubicolor, and Croquet Club.

Continuing its legacy of iconic mix compilations, Above & Beyond—who have helmed both the Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats compilations for over two decades—now present ‘Anjunachill 01’. The mix opens with the group’s latest ambient track, ‘Shall We Begin,’ marking the relaunch of Anjunachill and the start of Anjuna’s 25th Anniversary celebrations.

The compilation also features tracks from Jody Wisternoff & James Grant, Dusky, Leaving Laurel, Yotto, Croquet Club, and standout releases from Anjunachill like Cephas Azariah’s ‘Joy Paradox’ and an exclusive remix from renowned composer Peter Sandberg of Mark Barrott’s track ‘Everything Changes, Nothing Ends’.

Looking ahead, ‘Anjunachill 01’ introduces exciting new talent, including tracks from Planet of Souls (the downtempo alias of Paul Rogers), PROFF, Redkat, and Ad Harmonium, a South African composer duo.

A celebration of both the label’s past and its bright future, ‘Anjunachill 01’ promises to be a sonic exploration of ambient and chillout bliss, perfect for fans old and new alike.
