Flight Facilities Share New Song & Video “Days of the Week” (feat. Enumclaw)

Today, Australian electronic duo Flight Facilities release their new single, “Days of the Week,” featuring Aramis Johnson of the Tacoma, Washington-based band Enumclaw. The track, which arrives alongside a new music video, is out now via Future Classic.

Written in Los Angeles, “Days of the Week” follows the wrap of Flight Facilities’ Trouble Tour, which concluded with dual weekend performances at Coachella’s coveted Yuma Tent. The duo, steeped in Southern California spirit, indulges in a playful commentary on stereotypical LA, with nods to the city’s guilty pleasures like overpriced Erewhon smoothies, plastic surgery, and influencer culture.

Never taking things too seriously, Flight Facilities’ innate humor shines through Enumclaw’s Aramis Johnson (NMEKEXP), who facetiously raps cheeky lyrics (“Monday bought a brand new car / parked the old one way too far / Tuesday, rhinoplasty / other nose, way too trashy”) over the duo’s too-good-to-be-true acid house production. In the music video, dancer/influencer Gilly Moya feels the groove of the track in the iconic LA spots: The Beverly Hills Hotel, Catch, the Church of Scientology, Muscle Beach, and Runyon Canyon.

What started out as a joke during a three-hour studio session with Aramis of Enumclaw has turned into one of our guiltiest pleasures. A modern-day ode to Los Angeles and the people who make it shine.”    — Flight Facilities

After they stole my apes, I knew I had to find some new collabs, and thankfully Flight Facilities gifted me this beat for free. Feeling #blessed rn. Anyway, as I was saying, a lot of you have asked about my skincare routine…”   — Aramis Johnson of Enumclaw

“Days of the Week” continues the intentional theme of time and place for Flight Facilities’ recent music. The single follows the release of “Trouble” last month (and Chloé Caillet’s remix), which extracted the pure essence of Sydney’s mid-to-late 2000s club scene. Reinvigorated by some dancefloor horseplay during a stint in Ibiza last summer, Flight Facilities continue to expand on their passion for dance music of all shapes and tempos as they dig into the different sub-cultures that they’ve traversed throughout their 15-year career.

Through their Decades Mixes and massive record collection, which came to life during their expansive, sold-out The Decades Tour last year, Flight Facilities have devoted themselves as dancefloor scholars. The result takes listeners on unsuspecting journeys through musical history to places and times they may have never visited but that feel familiar nonetheless. Flight Facilities’ music bridges the gap between the vast spectrum of music enthusiasts and, in turn, creates a global community that comes together and finds a connection both on and off the dancefloor.

Since originating in 2008 in Sydney, Australia, Flight Facilities, across two albums and a myriad of beloved singles, has amassed over 1.5 billion streams across DSPs and YouTube. They’ve circled the globe as both maestros behind the decks and as a live band, performing for over one million fans worldwide over the course of their career, and have worked alongside artists like Kylie Minogue, DRAMA, Channel Tres, Aloe Blacc, and Reggie Watts.
