It has been six years since legendary electronic music producer and drum & bass maverick Phace, also known as Florian Harres, released his most recent album. He now makes a vigorous return with ‘Everyday’, set for release on May 24th via North America’s trendsetter, Zeds Dead renowned Deadbeats label.
Recorded in Germany, mixed and mastered by himself, the LP exudes a unique vibe, pushing sonic boundaries with its blend of genres, fierce basslines, and infectious dancefloor anthems. Two years in the making and spanning a concise 44 minutes, ‘Everyday’ embodies the avant-garde reinvention of Phace’s signature sonic qualities and precision production wizardry, all presented in a harmoniously futuristic and warm manner.
With a track record of five previous albums, countless genre-defining singles, EPs and remixes on renowned labels like Vision, OWSLA, and Mau5trap, as well as his very own imprints Neosignal and NËU, Phace continues to impress on ‘Everyday’ as Germany’s powerhouse of cutting-edge and forefront electronic bass music.
Championed by the likes of Amon Tobin, Skrillex, Noisia, and beyond, the Hamburg based DJ and producer is known for his uncompromising and unconventional approaches. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences including juke, breakbeat, drum & bass, techno, IDM and alternative, he consistently seeks to refine his forward-thinking and ever-progressive style, thereby paving ways for generations of producers.
Ahead of the album release, a three-track sampler will be dropped on April 19th, offering a taste of what’s to come.
