Amine Edge & DANCE | Making Waves on Flashmob | Fresh Music

by The Freaks - Staff

One of Italy’s most respected imprints, Flashmob Records celebrates its fifth anniversary in 2019 with a slew of standout releases. Amine Edge & DANCE, one of France’s most beloved duos, make their debut on the label with a tried-and-tested techy roller, “It Doesn’t Make Sense“.

“It Doesn’t Make Sense”, gets right to the point from the very first beat with effects and samples layered over a seriously crunchy beat, before introducing us to a deep, groovy bassline that is going to push bassbins to their limits this summer. This track is bound to be a club favorite. Its catchy sample combined with the hypnotizing effects will have the party bouncing.

The EP also provides three strong mixes which complement the original and ensure this release has something for everyone. First up, label boss, Flashmob puts his stamp on proceedings with a re-touch that focuses on a beefed-up bassline and works the track for early-hours dance floors that need something a bit weightier.

Carnao Beats takes things in a slightly different direction with a hypnotic, tribal vibe which ramps up the energy and makes the percussion the star of the show. Classmatic strips things right back, drops the BPM and delivers a glitchy, synth-driven bass monster whose simplicity catches you off guard and flips it to make it the mix’s strongest feature.

The whole EP takes the track in totally different directions and each remix has a flavor everyone can appreciate. Make sure to check out “It Doesn’t Make Sense”, out now! And catch Amine Edge & DANCE on tour at a city near you.
