After the unbelievable unveiling of The Alchemy Tour and its inaugural show, The Glitch Mob, Seven Lions and NGHTMRE + SLANDER present Gud Vibrations have followed up with series of colossal tour stops across the country. Setting their sights on massive venues, arenas and amphitheatres, it’s clear these awesome artists intend the tour to be a once in lifetime experience.
Northwest bassheads will catch the tour at The Gorge Amphitheatre on October 5th. With a legendary venue and a lineup overflowing with top talent, the second stop of The Alchemy Tour is nearly a full festival on its own. The venue for the tour’s first stop at Marina Green in Long Beach, CA holds a maximum capacity of 8,000-10,000 attendees, but The Gorge Amphitheatre regularly hosts festivals and concerts with over 20,000 attendees, making this upcoming stop of the tour a massive step up.
The announcement’s October date has raised many eyebrows since The Gorge Amphitheatre usually shuts down for the season in early September. Above and Beyond’s Group Therapy 250 in 2017 was notable in how late in the season it was held, and that was only on September 16th and 17th. Festival veterans know the weather at the Gorge can be erratic on even the best summer day, so an October date could be chilly to say the least. But festival veterans also won’t be deterred from catching such an incredible show, so expect to bassheads filling the pit and hill of The Gorge’s main stage no matter the forecast. Event organizers have not yet advertised any camping options for the event. It would be surprising if The Gorge’s campground was not open for this event given the late start time and the venue’s remote location.
The tour’s full schedule can be found below, and tickets will be on sale on Thursday, June 20th at 10am local time. Head Over to Live Nation and get ready to jump on tickets when they’re released! Where will you be catching The Alchemy Tour?
