Today, rising house music maverick Adam Ten teams up with ethereal R&B star Rhye to unveil their new single, “3 Days Later,” out now via Higher Ground. This track expands the scope of Adam’s unique sound, reimagining Rhye’s “3 Days” from the acclaimed 2013 album Woman.
Originally crafted as an edit for Adam’s Burning Man sets last year, “3 Days Later” quickly became a fan favorite. After receiving enthusiastic support from Rhye, the track was officially cleared and returned to the playa, where it was met with even more acclaim. “I made this edit around one year ago for my morning set at Robot Heart art car in Burning Man. The original track moved me deeply when I first heard it, bringing tears to my eyes. I aimed to capture that feeling and translate it to the dancefloor, creating a connection between people and their emotions. The feedback has been incredible, and I’m thrilled that Rhye approved the sample, allowing ‘3 Days Later’ to be officially released,” says Adam Ten.
“3 Days Later” marks another milestone in Adam Ten’s impressive 2024. Known for his distinctive psychedelic take on house music, Adam has gained significant attention this year, debuting at Coachella, presenting his first Essential Mix for Pete Tong, and securing slots at EDC, Burning Man, and Circoloco. His collaborations with renowned artists such as Solomun, Black Coffee, and Damian Lazarus further underscore his rising prominence.
Hailing from Tel Aviv, Adam Ten is a key figure in the city’s burgeoning dance music scene. His sound, which blends elements of psytrance with house music, has set him apart from the traditional tech house genre. With “3 Days Later,” Adam explores a more melodic and potentially pop-infused direction, showcasing his versatility and growth as an artist.
