Vancouver native Adam Pearce reconnects with L.A-based singer-songwriter Dani King for an emotive ballad, “Align,” a powerful melodic bass track released on SLANDER's Heaven Sent imprint. This single builds on the chemistry established in their 2022 collaboration, “Pieces.”

The song is about pure connection with another person, and sometimes denying or hiding from our emotions only makes them stronger. Working again with SLANDER's record label Heaven Sent is always incredible; SLANDER has been a huge support and inspiration. ‘Align' is my second original song with Dani, and it's always a pleasure working together.”
Dani King expands on the collaboration: “I believe every topline has a home, sometimes it just has to wait to be claimed, and ‘Align' was one of those songs. I wrote this topline in 2017 with my friend Max Hurrell, and it fit perfectly over Adam's beautiful instrumental. I was thrilled that Adam loved the song; it came together so easily for both of us.”
