Following its standout presence on Above & Beyond’s Bigger Than All Of Us album and its rise as a fan favorite during their 2025 North American tour, the emotive collaboration with rising star Malou, “Letting Go,” receives a fresh remix package this week via Anjunabeats.
Released December 11, the package includes brand-new reinterpretations from Rinzen and Drove, alongside the previously released Above & Beyond Club Mix and extended versions of all tracks.
Originally debuting in July, “Letting Go” marked the first collaboration between Above & Beyond and German-Hawaiian singer-songwriter Malou, whose introspective vocals have become a defining force in modern emotive electronic music. Malou, known for her breakout hit Breathing with Ben Böhmer and Nils Hoffmann, brings a tender clarity to one of the most resonant tracks on Bigger Than All Of Us.
As Above & Beyond’s North American amphitheater tour rolled out in summer 2025, “Letting Go” took on a new life with a Club Mix, featuring a darker synth palette, higher tempo, and euphoric peak-time energy. Played across sold-out venues including Forest Hills Stadium and Shoreline Amphitheater, it quickly became a live favorite, officially releasing on November 27.
The remix package adds fresh perspectives from two of electronic music’s most exciting talents:
- Rinzen, the Los Angeles-based cinematic techno innovator and This Never Happened recording artist, delivers a moody, spacious remix that preserves the track’s emotional depth while building a slow-burning energy. Rinzen shares, “It’s honestly a surreal feeling to remix Above & Beyond. I’ve been listening to their music for 15 years. I absolutely love everything Malou does as well, so it’s a big honor to put my spin on ‘Letting Go.’”
- Drove, the Dutch duo known for melodic, future-forward productions, offer a crisp, rhythmic interpretation that balances festival-ready energy with vocal intimacy. They explain, “We’ve been huge fans of Above & Beyond for years, and Malou’s vocals hooked us immediately. The song has that euphoric, edge-of-your-seat feeling we chase in our own music. Being able to remix it officially is a dream come true.”
Each remix is also available in extended format, making the package equally suited for club sets, radio playlists, and immersive listening sessions.
