This New Year’s Eve, titans of the electronic music genre Above & Beyond will ring in 2020 with a special headline show at an incredible cavernous location in the Bronx — the 60,000 sq foot New York Expo Center. Jono, Tony and Paavo return to one of their favorite cities for the biggest party of the year and they’ll be bringing with them some of Anjunabeats heavy hitters. Andrew Bayer, Genix and Nox Vahn will be taking to the stage on this magical evening to take us on what’s sure to be a spectacular journey.
Few artists in today’s electronic space can claim the same depth and versatility as Andrew Bayer. He’s produced some of the biggest Anjunabeats anthems of recent years, released albums of glitchy critically acclaimed electronica. Having just seen him here in the big apple and across the country at Dreamstate SoCal — I can personally say that we’re in for a great by having Bayer on the lineup. He’ll be sure to bring along a platter of his own tracks that will serve us cinematic sounds, progressive textures, electronica influences and big room energy.
One of the longest-serving linchpins of the trance scene, Genix has deep roots in the genre. Pushing an exciting new sound that makes a departure from many of his previous works, he is one of the most exciting acts in Anjunabeats’ impressive stable. I just saw Genix for my first time last month and I was absolutely floored by how well each song flowed together throughout his set like an endless stream of great melodies and kicking bass lines. Don’t miss this one for anything.
Nox Vahn has proven himself worthy of a seat at the in this notable lineup. An up-and-coming American artist, his transcendent style of production has earned him his home at both, Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats. We’re very excited to welcome Nox Vahn to the stage this New Year’s Eve.
