Los Angeles singer-songwriter Harmony Tividad continues building anticipation for her upcoming solo album Lifetime with the release of her latest single, “Best Dressed.” Accompanied by a vibrant, retro-inspired music video directed by Caroline Iaffaldano, the track offers another glimpse into the deeply personal and stylistically rich world that Tividad has crafted for her forthcoming full-length project.

Set for release on June 26 via KRO Records, Lifetime marks a significant chapter in Tividad’s artistic evolution. “Best Dressed” follows previously released singles “Mulholland Drive,” accompanied by a video directed by Terrence O’Conner, and “I’m Still Learning How To Leave You,” which arrived alongside a visual directed by Hannah De Vries. The new single further expands the emotional and thematic landscape of the album while showcasing Tividad’s signature blend of introspective songwriting and cinematic storytelling.

The video for “Best Dressed” leans into colorful 1960s aesthetics, placing Tividad on a psychedelic television soundstage filled with playful costumes, vibrant visuals, and vintage performance influences. The result is a whimsical yet thoughtful visual companion that complements the song’s deeper themes.

“Caroline and I were inspired by vintage bandstand videos and wanted to capture the energy of those old performances,” Tividad explains. “The 1960s television stage becomes a metaphor for the performance of femininity, existing in a world built around spectacle and perception.”

That exploration of identity, transformation, and self-discovery sits at the heart of Lifetime. Across twelve tracks, Tividad examines the ongoing process of becoming—balancing the permanence of life’s defining experiences with the constant changes that shape who we are. Through vivid storytelling and deeply personal reflections, the album explores freedom, reinvention, and the challenge of creating a life on one’s own terms, even when those terms continue to evolve.

Last year’s singles “Apple Pie,” “Where Strangers Go,” and “Anything” will also appear on the album, helping form a body of work that captures several years of growth and transition.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Harmony Tividad first emerged as one-half of the influential indie duo Girlpool, earning acclaim for her sharp lyricism, emotional honesty, and distinctive songwriting voice. Since the band’s hiatus, she has continued to develop her artistic identity, channeling new experiences and perspectives into her solo work.

Executive produced by Yves Rothman, Lifetime has been years in the making. Written during a transformative period that spans the years before and after Girlpool’s hiatus, the album reflects themes of heartbreak, spiritual change, self-examination, and resilience. The result is a collection that feels both deeply intimate and universally relatable—a modern portrait of navigating uncertainty while searching for meaning and connection.

Following the album’s release, Tividad will hit the road this August, joining Babymorocco as support on select tour dates.

With “Best Dressed,” Harmony Tividad continues to demonstrate why she remains one of indie music’s most compelling storytellers, delivering a song and visual experience that is equal parts nostalgic, playful, and emotionally resonant. As Lifetime approaches, the album is shaping up to be her most fully realized solo statement yet.
