III Points Festival has announced the return of its immersive audiophile-focused stage experience, ::444::, for its 2026 edition, taking place October 16–17 in Miami.
Designed for listeners who want to go beyond traditional festival formatting, ::444:: is built around extended four-hour performances, high-fidelity sound design, and a listening environment tailored for deeper exploration. The result is a rare festival space where artists are given the freedom to move away from tightly timed sets and instead develop longer-form musical narratives.
First introduced in 2024, ::444:: is a collaboration between III Points, L-Acoustics, and Apple Music, bringing together festival curation, cutting-edge sound engineering, and global DJ mix distribution. The stage reflects a shared focus on sound quality, artistic freedom, and preservation of live electronic music culture.
At its core, the format challenges the standard festival model. Instead of short, high-turnover sets, ::444:: features three extended four-hour performances each day, allowing artists to dig deeper into their catalogues, experiment with pacing, and build more immersive journeys for the audience.
Technologically, the stage incorporates an advanced L-Acoustics spatial audio system, including the L2 line array with Progressive Ultra-Dense Line Source technology. The system moves beyond traditional stereo configurations by enabling sound placement and movement in a three-dimensional space, creating a more enveloping and precise listening experience.
Each performance is also captured in spatial audio through Apple Music, including crowd ambiance and room acoustics, before being mixed in Dolby Atmos for later release. This archival approach extends the life of each set beyond the festival itself, allowing fans worldwide to revisit the experience in immersive detail.
Speaking on the return of the stage, Stephen Campbell, Global Head of Dance, Electronic Music & DJ Mixes at Apple Music, said:
“::444:: represents exactly what the Apple DJ Mix program was built to support: immersive listening, artist freedom, and dance music experienced with intention. By working with III Points and L-Acoustics to capture these extended sets in Spatial Audio, we’re helping preserve a rare kind of festival experience and bring it to fans around the world. It’s about honoring the energy of the dancefloor while giving these performances a life beyond the moment.”

The ::444:: stage is located inside III Points’ signature black room warehouse space, a former film soundstage known for its acoustics and historical significance within the festival’s origins.
With its return, III Points Festival continues to reinforce its identity as a forward-thinking platform that bridges underground culture, technological innovation, and large-scale live experiences—while maintaining a strong focus on intentional, high-quality dancefloor moments.
Further lineup details and participating artists for ::444:: will be announced in the coming months.
