Ahead of the release of her highly anticipated debut album NATURE IS HEALING, arriving this Friday via horsegiirL/RCA Records, the world’s first half-horse, half-human singer-songwriter, DJ, and producer horsegiirL has unveiled her latest single, “that’s my beach!” The track premiered as BBC Radio 1’s prestigious Hottest Record in the World, offering another glimpse into the imaginative universe that has made the enigmatic artist one of electronic music’s most captivating new voices.
Accompanying the release is a delightfully surreal music video co-directed by horsegiirL, Enantios Dromos, and Rosario Bohio. Inspired by a sun-soaked day on a Brazilian beach, the visual follows a whimsical love story in which horsegiirL allegedly encounters a stunning creature who is half-woman, half-seahorse. Equal parts dreamlike romance and playful fantasy, the video expands the mythology that continues to surround the artist’s ever-growing world.
For directors Enantios Dromos and Rosario Bohio, the project carried a deeper personal connection.
“We met Stella when she was first born, long before she even learned how to trot, so directing ‘that’s my beach!’ years later, in Brasil felt very full circle. Seeing how far her trot has taken her makes us incredibly proud. As horse lovers raised around horses in small villages — me (Enantios) in Brasil and Rosario in the Dominican Republic — we’re always excited to be taken for a ride by Stella around the world.
“There’s probably no better place than Brasil for a beach love story. Something in the Brazilian waters made earth and sea fall for each other — when Stella and Seahorse met, it was lesbian love at first sight. No one could tell them they were horses from different realms.”
The release arrives as anticipation continues to build for NATURE IS HEALING, a 15-track debut that positions itself as far more than a traditional electronic music album. Framed as a collection of mantras designed to reconnect listeners with the natural world, the project explores the idea that humans remain deeply linked to the Earth through shared rhythms, frequencies, and collective experience.
To bring this ambitious vision to life, horsegiirL assembled an impressive roster of collaborators spanning the contemporary electronic landscape. Contributors include Nomak, known for his work with Charli xcx; Casey MQ, recognized through collaborations with Oklou; Margo XS, whose credits include Kim Petras and Zara Larsson; Elof Loelv of Icona Pop; FREE Jimi, associated with Dorian Electra; Suena, known for work with Apache 207; acclaimed producer A.G. Cook; and longtime creative partner Luvhunter.
Throughout the album, organic elements play a central role in shaping its sonic identity. Samples of birds, insects, mammals, and reptiles intertwine with global percussion, accordions, pan flutes, and electronic production, creating a soundscape that reinforces the album’s message of interconnectedness between humans and the natural world.
As the project enters its next phase, horsegiirL is inviting her devoted fan community, affectionately known as the Farmies, to join her on the upcoming NATURE IS HEALING Tour. Designed around the idea that dance music can foster genuine connection rather than simple escapism, the global run will begin this September and bring her immersive live experience to audiences across North America and Europe.
The tour includes first-time performances in cities such as Denver, Philadelphia, and Atlanta, alongside major headline returns to New York, Toronto, and Los Angeles. In one of the tour’s most notable appearances, horsegiirL will also support Robyn at her sold-out performance at the Kia Forum. Additional support on select dates will come from Ren G, DJ_Dave, and Dylan Brady. The European leg continues with performances in Berlin, Paris, London, and several other major cities.
Beyond her headline dates, horsegiirL continues to make her presence felt across the global festival circuit with upcoming appearances at Electric Love, Dour Festival, Osheaga, and Lollapalooza.
The momentum follows a remarkable run of high-profile appearances throughout the past year. From standout moments at the CULT100 event in New York City and performances at Coachella alongside Wet Leg and PinkPantheress, to a memorable appearance at Lollapalooza South America, where she was humorously “arrested” by Sabrina Carpenter, horsegiirL has consistently blurred the lines between performance art, electronic music, and internet-era storytelling. Additional highlights include appearances at New York Fashion Week, where she closed Evanie Frausto’s SHOWPONY debut, and Spotify’s Best New Artist celebration.
