Roskilde Festival has officially completed its 2026 music lineup, revealing the final wave of artists set to perform at Northern Europe’s largest festival. Leading the latest announcement are global K-pop star Jennie and rising rap force Ken Carson, rounding out a genre-spanning program that underscores the festival’s forward-facing identity.
Set to take place from June 27 to July 4 in Roskilde, Denmark, the independent, non-profit event will host 177 music acts and more than 90 contributors across art and activism. Spread over 16 stages and venues, this year’s edition continues to push scale and diversity, both sonically and culturally.
The newly announced acts join an already stacked roster featuring The Cure, Gorillaz, Zara Larsson, Addison Rae, Clipse, and David Byrne, alongside acclaimed names like Kneecap, Lily Allen, Little Simz, Wolf Alice, and Ethel Cain. The result is a lineup that bridges generations and genres, reflecting both current movements and emerging global trends.
At the center of the final announcement is Jennie, whose influence has been instrumental in the global rise of K-pop. First gaining worldwide recognition as a member of BLACKPINK, she has since expanded her artistic reach with her solo debut Ruby (2025). Her upcoming main stage performance promises a high-impact live show, pairing razor-sharp pop production with a full ensemble of dancers.
“Jennie is impossible to ignore when trying to understand where pop music is heading,” says Thomas Sønderby Jepsen, Head of Music at Roskilde Festival. “She is at the very centre of the global rise of K-pop, which is now, for the first time, moving into the top tier of a Danish festival lineup. The addition of Jennie reinforces what Roskilde Festival is—and is meant to be: a festival that reflects present tendencies while pointing towards the future.”
Beyond its headline additions, the final wave highlights the festival’s commitment to global representation and underground innovation. Ken Carson brings his distortion-heavy, punk-influenced take on rage rap, while artists like Jalen Ngonda, BIA, and Panda Bear & Sonic Boom expand the lineup’s stylistic reach. Regional voices are equally prominent, with Tarrak representing Greenland, Sama’ Abdulhadi bringing her internationally recognized techno sound from Palestine, and Heinali & Andriana-Yaroslava delivering a distinct perspective shaped by Ukraine’s evolving cultural landscape. Danish rap icons Malk de Koijn further anchor the local presence.

“This year’s music programme offers the breadth, depth, and quality that a Roskilde Festival lineup should embody,” adds Thomas Sønderby Jepsen. “177 acts from 37 countries reflect a wide diversity and point to where music is heading, with more artists performing in their native languages, a strong presence of electronic music, and a clear focus on the live experience. Above all, there is a playful and curious approach, where artists move across genres and experiment with sound and expression.”
Outside the music program, Roskilde Festival continues to expand its multidisciplinary scope with an extensive lineup of art and activism. Featuring more than 90 installations, performances, and talks from over 30 countries, this year’s programming explores themes of peace, community, and future-building through immersive, participatory experiences.
Highlights include the global Piece for Peace Movement, which will present large-scale graffiti works centered on unity and collective expression, as well as performances from Jamaican collective 1Guh Watch, blending dancehall with community-driven storytelling. The festival’s newly introduced Cinema space will host a curated selection of films, ranging from award-winning features to late-night horror screenings and documentaries.
Throughout the grounds, experiential art takes center stage. The performance group Feerne will bring a surreal, glitter-drenched universe to life through roaming, interactive appearances, while attendees can take part in hands-on workshops with organizations like Greenpeace and the Nordic Climate Justice Coalition, transforming everyday items into statements of climate awareness. Additional activations include a roller disco and skateboarding sessions with the Danish national team.
“The art at Roskilde Festival meets participants in a very engaging way—it is immediate and direct,” says Signe Brink Wehl, Director of Art at Roskilde Festival. “This year’s programme embraces a playful and optimistic approach, even when addressing serious themes. It’s about creating space for celebration while offering hope for change and a better future.”
With its full lineup now revealed and schedule released, Roskilde Festival 2026 stands as one of the year’s most expansive cultural gatherings—where music, art, and activism converge to reflect not only where global culture is today, but where it’s headed next.
