In a vibrant celebration of Brazilian culture, Boa Nova Festival has revealed the full lineup for its debut edition, set to take over Leyton Jubilee Park in London on Friday, May 22, 2026. Marking its first year, the festival brings together a diverse cross-section of Brazil’s contemporary music scene, with a lineup composed entirely of Brazilian artists spanning genres, generations, and regional influences.
Spread across two stages, Boa Nova Festival will be headlined by three standout voices shaping modern Brazilian music: João Gomes, Liniker, and Mari Froes, sharing the same bill for a rare and highly anticipated London appearance. The wider lineup continues to spotlight both established figures and rising talent, including A Música De Tim Maia and D. Vyzor, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to representing the depth and evolution of Brazil’s sound.
A second, dance-focused stage—developed in collaboration with Baile Funk Culture—will highlight the energy of Brazil’s club and street sounds. Artists including Caio Prince, Th4ys, Bronka, DJ Patife, and Mango & Ginger will deliver sets rooted in baile funk, electronic rhythms, and bass-driven experimentation, offering a dynamic contrast to the live performances on the main stage.
Reflecting on the launch, the Boa Nova Festival team shared:
“After years of sold-out shows at the Jazz Cafe for London’s Brazilian community, we’re excited to bring our most ambitious lineup yet to an outdoor celebration of Brazilian music this May Bank Holiday.”
Beyond the music, Boa Nova Festival is designed as a fully immersive cultural experience, bringing the spirit of Brazil to the heart of London. Attendees can expect live samba drumming, Samba de Malandro showcases, carnival-inspired performances, as well as celebrations of Brazilian Axé and Brazilian Funk, all contributing to a colorful, high-energy atmosphere throughout the day.
The festival will also feature a curated selection of Brazilian food and drink vendors, including Aroma Grill and Broll Grill, both specializing in traditional Brazilian Churrasco, offering an authentic culinary counterpart to the musical programming.

Local accessibility remains a key focus, with residents of Waltham Forest eligible for discounted tickets priced at £35, alongside a limited allocation of complimentary tickets available through a ballot system. Full ticketing details, accessibility information, and additional festival updates can be found via official channels.
Positioned as a new fixture in the city’s cultural landscape, Boa Nova Festival arrives in collaboration with the UK/Brazil Season of Culture 2025–26, aiming to elevate Brazilian music within London’s established festival circuit while creating meaningful connections between artists and new audiences.
