Hailing from Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Harmony returns with the announcement of her new album Lifetime, due June 26 via KRO Records. Rooted in introspection and transformation, the twelve-track project captures an ongoing cycle of personal evolution, balancing life’s constants with its ever-shifting realities. At its core, Lifetime reflects the pursuit of freedom and self-definition, even as those ideals continue to evolve in real time.
Alongside the announcement, Harmony unveils her latest single, “I’m Still Learning How To Leave You,” produced by Yves Rothman and recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles. Driven by earnest lyricism and an anthemic arrangement, the track foregrounds the emotional intensity and narrative depth that have become hallmarks of her songwriting. The release arrives alongside a cinematic visual directed by Hannah De Vries, featuring surreal imagery of Harmony alongside a beached Jesus, ascending Salvation Mountain, and surrounded by clouds of colored smoke.
Speaking on the new single, Harmony explains, “I’m still learning how to leave you is about the continued strength to surrender responsibility over a person you no longer have the strength to take care of. The pain of how strong the urge continues to be even when you are worlds apart.”
The announcement builds on momentum from previously released singles “Apple Pie,” “Where Strangers Go” and “Anything”, all of which will appear on Lifetime. Last year, Harmony also spoke with i-D about her deep-rooted connection to Los Angeles, as well as the creative inspiration behind the visual world of “Anything.”
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Harmony Tividad first emerged as one half of Girlpool, earning recognition for her sharp lyricism and emotionally resonant songwriting. Now firmly established as a singular voice, she continues to evolve beyond her origins. Executive produced by Yves Rothman, Lifetime channels what can best be described as a modern Hollywood heartbreak—written across transitional years spanning from before Girlpool’s hiatus through to the album’s completion, and shaped by themes of emotional upheaval, spiritual recalibration, and existential clarity.
With Lifetime, Harmony steps into a new chapter defined by vulnerability, growth, and reinvention—offering a body of work that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant, while hinting at even more to come in the near future.
