French producer and global dance figure Kungs (Valentin Brunel) has announced his forthcoming album OUT LOUD, set for release Friday, March 13. Created across Paris, London, and Los Angeles, the album celebrates the meeting of groove, analog textures, and electronic pulses, marking a bold new chapter in his career.
OUT LOUD embraces a more physical, club-focused sound, redefining Kungs’ sonic signature with music built for late nights, large systems, and vibrant dancefloors, while maintaining the melodic instinct and pop sensibility that defined his rise. After years of global success and radio-driven hits, Kungs sought to reconnect his music with dancefloor roots, prioritizing visceral energy, hooks, and emotional resonance over conventional commercial play.
The album features a curated lineup of collaborators reflecting Kungs’ evolving artistic direction. Channel Tres appears on the infectious “Nasty,” crafted with Benny Ola in Los Angeles and driven by a warping bassline and commanding vocal. Long-time friend Theophilus London contributes “Galaxy,” a track steeped in 80s off-kilter soul, while Boys Noize serves as both collaborator and mixer, shaping the album’s opening track “Get Away” and helping balance the industrial toughness and melodic warmth across the record.
Other notable contributions include PNAU on the energizing “Light Me Up,” CHANEY on the deep club cut “Addicted,” and Stevie Appleton on “Body Talk,” blending 80s influences with driving contemporary dancefloor rhythms.
Originally from Toulon, Kungs rose to global fame at 19 with the multi-Diamond hit “This Girl,” later solidifying his status with albums Layers (2016) and Club Azur, and collaborations including “Substitution” with Purple Disco Machine and “All Night Long” with David Guetta and Izzy Bizu.
Kungs will bring OUT LOUD to life with a one-of-a-kind immersive concert at the Zénith de Paris on April 3, where music, light, movement, and scenography converge for a complete sensory experience.
OUT LOUD is available Friday, March 13, on all platforms.
