For one week every June, Barcelona transforms into the global epicentre of electronic music, creativity and innovation. At the centre of this cultural shift stands Sónar, the original city-based electronic music festival, anchoring a vast constellation of events that together form Sónar Week. In 2026, that vision reaches new heights, unfolding as a true citywide takeover that stretches from the historic centre to the Mediterranean coastline.
At the core of the programme is a newly consolidated Sónar at Fira Gran Via in L’Hospitalet, where, for the first time, the Day and Night programmes merge into a single venue. Music runs continuously from 17:00 into the early hours, extending into the morning on Friday and Saturday. Across six stages — three outdoor and three indoor — more than 100 performances will span genres, generations and geographies.
The lineup offers a panoramic view of contemporary electronic culture, uniting pioneers and forward-facing innovators alike. Landmark appearances include The Prodigy, Kelis, Skepta, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Dom Dolla, Chris Stussy, Modeselektor, Cabaret Voltaire, WhoMadeWho, SBTRKT, FJAAK & Kittin (Live) and Speedy J presents STOOR. Defining club figures such as Goldie b2b Doc Scott & Medic MC, Nia Archives, Joy Orbison, KETTAMA, Sammy Virji, Addison Groove, Two Shell, Wata Igarashi (Live), Boys Noize, ISA, DJ MARIA, Alba Franch, and Clementaum b2b LAZA further reinforce the festival’s global scope.
Beyond the main festival, OFFSónar at Poble Espanyol returns as one of the week’s most sought-after open-air experiences, hosting curated events from influential collectives including Rampa & Adam Port, Adriatique Present X, Baddest Behaviour by Mau P, Lone Romantic by Maceo Plex, FUSELondon, Mochakk Calling, and elrow. Several events have already sold out, reflecting continued international demand.

In the heart of the city, Sónar+D relocates to Llotja de Mar, reinforcing its position as the conceptual axis of the week. The 14th International Congress of Innovation, Creativity and Technology will present talks, exhibitions, performances and community gatherings, bridging scientists, musicians, designers and digital pioneers.
A new addition for 2026, Sónar District at Parc del Fòrum, extends the celebration to the coastline. The programme features showcases from Solid Grooves, Metamorfosi by Joseph Capriati, and You&Me by Josh Baker, alongside the return of Sónar Kids, inviting families into a shared creative environment.
Across more than 18 stages and upwards of 180 artists, Sónar Week 2026 consolidates its role not merely as a festival, but as a coordinated cultural moment — reaffirming Barcelona as a global capital of electronic music and forward-thinking creativity. Further announcements are set to follow.
Tickets for all parties are currently available at sonar.es/es/sonar-district.
