Frost Children and Ninajirachi Unite on Reimagined Anthem ‘Sisters’

3 minutes read

Frost Children and Ninajirachi have joined forces for their new collaborative single, “Sisters,” an inspired rework rooted in the title track from Frost Children’s 2025 album SISTER. Originally serving as the emotional thesis and backbone of the record, the song now evolves into a shared creative statement between two of contemporary electronic music’s most forward-thinking voices.

This new version introduces a tender, freshly written verse from Ninajirachi, alongside new lyrics from Angel Prost and Lulu Prost of Frost Children. The track’s instrumentation has been completely reimagined, transforming its sonic palette while preserving the emotional core that made the original so resonant. “Sisters” also arrives shortly after Frost Children’s remix of Ninajirachi’s fan-favorite track “Fuck My Computer,” further cementing the artistic synergy between the two acts.

The release follows a landmark year on the road for Frost Children, whose SISTER World Tour saw completely sold-out runs across North America and Europe in 2025. The duo will continue their global momentum with upcoming headline dates in Australia, Japan, and the United Kingdom, alongside major summer festival appearances including Ultra Music Festival in Florida, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, and Mad Cool Festival in Spain.

Released on September 12, 2025, via True Panther and Dirty Hit, SISTER marked the explosive third album from Frost Children. The record channels the golden era of EDM and blog house that shaped Angel and Lulu Prost’s early musical identities growing up in St. Louis. Blending elements of emo, electro, and unapologetic pop, the album explores deeply personal themes of co-dependence, consistency, and change. It stands as both a loving homage to the sounds that first moved them and a bold declaration of their evolving creative identity. As collaborators, roommates, and self-described practitioners of “twin telepathy,” the sibling duo delivered a project that confidently revitalizes and reclaims a once-undervalued subgenre. As Lulu Prost aptly put it, the album reflects “so confidently what we love, and what we breathe.”

Meanwhile, Ninajirachi continues her rapid ascent following the release of her debut album I Love My Computer via NLV Records. Widely praised both in Australia and internationally, the record has been celebrated as a generational debut and a culturally significant moment in the 2025 electronic music landscape. With its boundary-pushing production and sharp artistic vision, the album positions Ninajirachi as a leading force reshaping space for female and non-binary artists within the genre and setting a new benchmark for the future of Australian electronic music.

With “Sisters,” Frost Children and Ninajirachi bridge their distinct sonic worlds into a shared, emotionally charged collaboration that feels both intimate and expansive — a testament to creative kinship, reinvention, and the power of electronic music to carry deeply human stories.
