Australian-born, Denver-based producer ÆON:MODE makes his debut on Bassrush Records with “RUN,” a high-octane jump-up drum & bass single, out November 14th.
Originally crafted as a custom DJ weapon for his sold-out Bassrush headline show earlier this year, “RUN” has evolved into a full-fledged festival and club destroyer. The track is a turbulent collision of steppy percussion, searing synths, and low-end chaos, perfectly capturing the energy and intensity of ÆON:MODE’s live sets.
“I made ‘RUN’ just for the intro of my Exchange LA show back in January, and about 30 seconds into that set, I knew I had to finish it,” ÆON:MODE recalls. “The energy in that room was unreal. Kinda crazy to think I played it for the first time at my first Bassrush headline show, and now it’s my first official Bassrush release, too. Full-circle moment, for sure.”
From the first bar, “RUN” plunges listeners into deep-space turbulence. Celestial melodies dissolve into snarling sub-bass growls and serrated leads, while rippling basslines engage in nonstop call-and-response with screeching rave motifs. The track is engineered for maximum impact on festival main stages and warehouse floors alike, a cinematic and primal take on drum & bass.
2025 has been a milestone year for ÆON:MODE, whose records have earned over 15 plays on BBC Radio 1’s ‘Drum & Bass Show’, amassed 5.5 million Spotify streams, and received playlist support from Spotify’s Massive Drum & Bass, All New Dance, Bass Arcade, as well as Apple Music’s Future Dance Hits and Breaking Dance.
