Brazilian newcomer Ribguga makes his Dirtybird label debut with the Brasil EP, out now as part of the label’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The collaborative two-track release features fellow Brazilian artists Balanka and Carvalho (BR), presenting a fresh perspective on the country’s underground dance scene.
The EP showcases Ribguga’s playful, percussive approach to production. On “Talkin’ Too Much” with Balanka, slick vocals ride a rolling low-end groove, while “President” with Carvalho (BR) offers a hazy, late-night vibe, threading techno weight through Dirtybird’s signature bounce. Together, the two tracks highlight the next wave of Brazilian talent shaping the label’s global sound.
Dirtybird has long championed Brazilian acts, supporting artists such as Bruno Furlan, Cour T., and DJ Glen. With Ribguga, the label continues to build bridges between Brazil’s vibrant club culture and its irreverent spirit. The Brasil EP sets the stage for Flight Week Brasil, a multi-city tour in 2026 celebrating Dirtybird’s 20th anniversary and spotlighting emerging voices from the region.
