After celebrating two decades of house and techno innovation, Dirtybird is taking its playful, boundary-pushing sound to South America with Flight Week Brazil, a new series of events and creative collaborations running from November 28 to December 13.
The week-long program combines club takeovers and a multi-day writing camp, with stops at Royal Garden in Americana, Reverse in Goiânia, Crema Club in São Paulo, and Cais Rooftop in Recife. A multi-day creative retreat in Belo Horizonte will give artists the space to collaborate, experiment, and craft new music before culminating in a special camp closing party at Sync Club.
The lineup features Dirtybird regulars Bruno Furlan, Buja, Cour T., DJ Glen, HeyDoc!, Illusionize, Malik Mustache, Plastic Robots, and Volkoder, alongside emerging Brazilian producers highlighted through community contests. Fans can expect unique B2B sessions and spontaneous moments that reflect the irreverent, energetic spirit Dirtybird has cultivated since its early days in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
Following the success of Flight Week San Francisco, which united the Dirtybird community for collaborative music-making, wellness activations, and local partnerships, the Brazil edition continues the label’s mission to merge creativity and community across continents. Artists will spend four days in Belo Horizonte developing projects that bridge cultures and styles, reinforcing the label’s commitment to fostering global underground talent.
Dirtybird’s connection to Brazil spans over a decade, with mainstays like Bruno Furlan and DJ Glen shaping the label’s modern sound and bringing its playful, percussive aesthetic to international audiences. Last year’s Taste Of Brazil compilation and recent releases from Bad Comppany and Danny Kolk continue to champion the country’s underground scene. Flight Week Brazil celebrates this creative exchange and marks a milestone in Dirtybird’s growing presence across Latin America.
