Built on a foundation of replayed instrumentation and fresh vocals inspired by Jackie Moore’s timeless hit, “A Better World” radiates warmth and optimism. “I’m very proud of this record we did with David. It comes back to our musical roots—being French, I grew up with French house: DJ Falcon, Cassius, Daft Punk, and many more incredible artists. That’s what we wanted to do with this record: bring back that sound!” shared Cedric Gervais.
“A Better World” marks the third official team-up between the two French icons, following their 2016 smash “Would I Lie to You” (which now boasts over 500 million streams) and last year’s club anthem “Switch.” The new single continues to build on their shared legacy while tapping into the retro resurgence currently sweeping the dance music world.
Meanwhile, Cedric Gervais has been on a tear with recent releases like “Bad Girl” and “Feel Better” with Sick Individuals, alongside revamps of classics like “We Are Family” and Eddie Amador’s “House Music.” On the live front, he’s brought the heat to stages at EDC Orlando, Solar Music Festival, Cavo Paradiso, and Marquee Vegas.
As for David Guetta, he’s taking over Ibiza once again this summer with high-profile residencies at Ushuaïa and the new UNVRS, while also headlining major festivals like Creamfields, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, and Paléo Festival Nyon. Notably, he’ll also command stadiums across Europe, including a monumental show at the Orange Vélodrome in his hometown of Marseille.
