Canadian trance visionary Somna teams up once again with Grammy-nominated legend Andy Moor and rising vocal talent Brieanna Grace for a powerful and emotionally charged new single, “I’m Alive”—the first release from Somna’s upcoming third album, Pathways.
Following his dynamic turn into melodic bass with Sabai, Somna returns to his trance roots, blending euphoric energy with cinematic emotion on “I’m Alive.” Co-produced with long-time collaborator Andy Moor—also his partner at AVA Recordings—and featuring poignant vocals from Brieanna Grace, the track captures an exhilarating sense of resilience and hope, setting the tone for what promises to be Somna’s most ambitious album yet.
“‘I’m Alive’ is a very special one for me,” Somna shares. “It marks my eighth collaboration with Andy, and our first with the incredibly talented Brieanna Grace. Recognized as one of Canada’s top trance artists, Somna has landed releases on iconic labels such as Armada Music, Black Hole Recordings, Future Sound of Egypt, and Perfecto, with consistent support from heavyweights like Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, and Markus Schulz. Andy Moor, meanwhile, remains a stalwart of the genre with a resume that includes a Grammy nomination, multiple IDMA wins, and a revered production style that has influenced generations of trance artists.
Completing the trio is Brieanna Grace, a Los Angeles-based vocalist, songwriter, and producer whose genre-spanning credits include collaborations with DJ Sharam, Daniel Allan, NIIKO x SWAE, and others. Her soulful delivery on “I’m Alive” brings depth and vulnerability, anchoring the track’s uplifting message.
