Insomniac Records celebrates a groundbreaking year with the release of its Best of Insomniac Records 2024 compilation. This 25-track collection highlights some of the label’s most iconic releases, offering a snapshot of the unforgettable music that lit up Insomniac’s global festival stages.
The compilation features standout tracks such as “Forever” by HUGEL and Diplo, BLOND:ISH‘s “Never Walk Alone” featuring Steve Appleton, Francis Mercier‘s afro house gem “Sauti,” and the disco-infused “Joy” from LF System, among others.
BLOND:ISH‘s “Never Walk Alone” has already amassed over 17 million Spotify streams, topped Spotify’s ‘mint’ playlist, and received significant radio support from BBC R1, KISS FM UK, and SiriusXM, marking it as the lead single for Insomniac Records’ first-ever album. HUGEL and Diplo‘s “Forever” surpassed 23 million Spotify streams, hit #1 on Beatport’s Afro House chart, and gained press acclaim from outlets such as Billboard, Mixmag LATAM, and DDC.
Other milestones include Mau P’s “On Again,” whose music video racked up over 1.1 million views, with key playlist features and media coverage from Rolling Stone, DJ Mag Germany, and The Zane Lowe Show.
In 2024, Insomniac Music Group oversaw 721 releases spanning all its imprints, spotlighting 620 unique artists. Highlights included tracks like Boys Noize‘s “FVKVRVND” on HARD Records, Miss Monique‘s “Look at You” on Interstellar Recordings, and Eli Brown and Lily Palmer‘s “Gasoline” on Factory93.
Expanding its horizons, Insomniac launched Insomniac Publishing, inaugurated its state-of-the-art Insomniac Studios, and spearheaded festival stages at events like EDC Las Vegas, Beyond Wonderland, and EDC Mexico. Additionally, the label produced marquee events such as Noizu x Max Styler in Hawaii, ADE at W Hotel, and Odd Mob at the Hollywood Palladium.
The year also saw the debut of branded labels Interstellar Recordings and Break Room Records and the continuation of its Discovery Project, connecting rising talent with industry leaders like Illenium, Oliver Heldens, and Seven Lions through 16 contests.
