Eddie Thoneick – ‘Into The Sunrise (feat. James Walsh)’

“This was a long overdue follow up single with my friend James Walsh. Both of us are big fans of melancholic harmonies and fragile elements that I wanted to combine with a more powerful, analogue feel. This [‘Into The Sunrise’] is a track that I’m really proud of as we put a lot of detail into it. Kryder was instantly blown away by it, and that’s when we decided to do this record on Kryteria. He puts so much heart into things he loves which is what I wanted for this track.”

A change in pace from H3NRY THR!LL’s last few tracks, gone is the hard-hitting bass and ferociously reverberating depth drops he’s been increasingly known for. In its place, ‘The One’ (done alongside Brokinpaper) is a beautifully controlled offering that is sumptuous yet restrained in its melody and achingly evocative in its topline. Barrera delivers a flawless vocal that sits perfectly within the production. It’s a mature sound from the teenager and one he agrees adds yet another string to his growing bow.
