If you didn’t get your ticket to EDC Las Vegas, you’re going to desperately wish you did. It’s been 10 years since EDC moved from it’s home in L.A. to Sin City and Insomniac is celebrating the anniversary in style. EDC released its lineup and it’s full of top-rated Electronic Dance Music headliners from around the globe, and up-and-coming DJs that are only going to continue exploding on the scene. With more than 250 names listed, there is a musician and stage for everyone.
In a press release, Founder and CEO of Insomniac Pasquale Rotella wrote: “EDC Las Vegas 2020 is the culmination of a decade’s worth of imagination and collaboration, and we wanted to celebrate those achievements with a lineup that represents the musical diversity of this amazing culture.”
The lineup they curated is doing just that. Alesso, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix and The Chainsmokers make up a few of the world-renowned artists performing that everyone in the community has come to love. Pendulum Trinity will debut their new show concept for the first time in North America, reuniting all three of their group members. To the excitement of every veteran EDM fan, producer Carl Cox will also be returning to EDC for the first time since 2015.
This is also the year of b2bs. The EDC Las Vegas lineup is stacked with some fire b2b sets that haven’t ever been done before like Slander b2b Said the Sky and Caspa b2b Peekaboo. You’ll also be able to fill your House vibes with Jauz b2b Oliver Heldens and get to moshing at Rob Gee b2b Sid of Slipknot. Headbangers will go wild with SayMyName b2b 12th Planet, and Techno snobs can grove out with Dubfire b3b Nicole Moudaber b3b Paco Osuna. Don’t worry, though, as a lot of the artists also will be playing their own individual sets on other days.
There are some notable names that are missing from the lineup but you’ll still be able to see during EDC Week. On the Thursday before the festival, Above & Beyond will be playing a pool party at Wet Republic and Illenium will be in town for a set at OMNIA. Kaskade also announced he will be making an appearance in Vegas, hosting a party during the day Friday. Insomniac has yet to release the full schedule of EDC Week events, but we anticipate other big names popping up given the previous history.
EDC is sold out, but there are still ways you can purchase tickets safely to make it out to the show. Now, who is already freaking out about scheduling conflicts?! Which headliner are you most excited to see? We are less than 90 days away – the hype is getting real.
