Halloween is my favorite time of year, and with Steez Promo’s Fright Night Massive this season couldn’t get any spookier.
Fright Night is coming to Baltimore, Maryland for its first time on Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th at a brand new venue. Fright Night claims they will have “a backdrop of state of the art lighting, thundering sound, dramatic staging, special FX and a host of costumed characters designed to pull you all the way into this wild immersive adventure” (ready to feel like you’re in zombie attack, anyone?) After seeing what Steez Promo brought to Moonrise Festival this year, we have no doubt that Fright Night will not be one to disappoint.
Fright Night will be featuring two stages, including the Solar Tent from Moonrise – perfectly renamed the Solar Eclipse Tent – with walls being added to each side. This will create a blacked-out experience to feature “explosive sound, psychedelic lighting, and megawatt laser activity”. Our guess is that it’s going to get dark…and very creepy.
Now on to the lineup. Steez is known for being the king of bass on the east coast, but this lineup features something for everyone. Patrons will get to cry throughout Said the Sky and Mitis, shuffle at Feed Me and Moski, before heading off to headbang at Herobust and Blunts & Blondes. Headlining acts include Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead, Adventure Club, and San Holo.
What has most people screaming is Svdden Death, who is presenting his Voyd project which first appeared for 2019 at Bass Canyon in August. The set caused some controversy in the bass community after people began to claim the visuals gave them nightmares, with a few even speculating it was a form of mind control. While Voyd is a deeply dark and twisted experience, it’s certainly one that’s a form of art and nothing more. It’s perfect for this Halloween experience.
The price point for Fright Night is not one that could be beat. For 30+ DJs the early bird pricing for GA starts out at only $79. Woah.
Do you have what it takes to survive Fright Night?
