In case you were on the fence about sending it for the Southeast’s biggest EDM festival, Imagine has a slew of alluring new reasons to persuade you alongside the phase 2 lineup. The party now starts a day earlier on Thursday, September 19, with early arrival camping options to score a better spot for your crew and an opening night of music at the fiery Disco Inferno stage. And if Disco Inferno wasn’t bangin’ enough with a Dirtybird takeover, its lineup reaches new heights of dopeness with the additions of space boss Space Jesus, Anjunadeep’s Lane 8, dupstep smashers Blunts & Blondes, Sullivan King b2b Kai Wachi b2b Kompany, and Boogie T and Squnto added to the Grave Gang b4b with Subtronics and HE$H.
The new TechYes/Guerilla 360 stage brings Imagine’s stage count to six (including the silent disco) and will feature Amine Edge & DANCE, Clyde P, Ciszak, Tim Baresko, Treasure Fingers and 16 other tech house DJs. Every 360 stage I’ve encountered at festivals makes for awesomely immersive sets, and considering the genre on display, the vibes here will be bumpin’ to the moon and back.
It gets pretty freaking hot at Imagine during the daytime, so the Vegas-style Saturday pool party inside the Atlanta Motor Speedway from 1-4 p.m. offers a refreshing shindig to keep cool before what’s typically the wildest night. The DJs for this have yet to be announced, but it’ll definitely be worth the $20 ticket add-on (or free for VIP) if you’re the type who can get your ass in gear and make it into the venue earlier in the day.
G Jones serves as an exciting bass addition to the Amazonia stage while Jade Cicada will complement that stage’s glitchy-bass Sunday night takeover with Tipper and Detox Unit. Single-day tickets will be available in early August, while 4-day GA passes are only $269 – the same price as a 3-day pass – and $289 with early arrival GA camping, until August 15th. Those who already bought 3-day passes will automatically get in for the Thursday night party, but will need to purchase an early-arrival camping pass for $49 to set up camp on Thursday. View the full lineup below and we’ll see you September 19-22 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway!
