Beloved North American force of underground house and techno label Desert Hearts Records has announced a new, darker sub-label named Desert Hearts Black. The label will expand the brand’s ethos of partying any day, any time, from daylight into darkness.
Aiming to recreate the surreal experiences found in those late-night, early-morning moments at the flagship festival, Desert Hearts founder Marbs and fellow producer Evan Casey will curate the label’s deeper direction. Their first release is an ethereal, three-track journey titled ‘Torus‘ set to be released August 9. Up-and-coming techno phenom Rinzen joins Marbs and Casey in cloaking the EP in darkness, setting the tone for future Deserts Hearts Black releases.
To celebrate the founding of Desert Hearts Black and its debut ‘Torus’, the Desert Hearts family will host a release party set to be held in Downtown Los Angeles’ Warehouse District on August 9. Click here for more info!
