Anjunabeats Wraps Up Their 2019 North American Tour In NYC | #AnjunaFam

Do you know a better way to spend your Memorial Day Weekend than with a night full of trance?! No? I didn’t think so. And this is why I spent Sunday night at the Brooklyn Mirage for the Anjunabeats show!

With an irresistible lineup from start to finish, I knew I had to arrive right at 9pm when the doors would open. My body was ready for 7.5 hours of dancing to soul-filling music. And boy oh boy did I give my shoes a work out because I didn’t stop moving all night.

As soon as I had my wristband on, I ran towards the magnificent open space, which is the Brooklyn Mirage. As I rounded the corner into the main space, the bass got louder and soon I was fully engulfed by the magnificent progressive sounds of Tinlicker. My friends and I gather at the front to feel the music flow through us as we danced in the moonlight. A smile flashed over my face as soon as I heard the opening notes of their track ‘Dream With Somebody’. All too soon, the first set had come to an end.

The next artist, Grum took control of the decks and took control of the crowd with his deep vibes. Everyone was in a trance especially when he dropped his song ‘Price of Love’. After Grum had his time to shine, Spencer Brown turned it up a notch and picked up the pace and heightened the vibe on the dance floor. I personally lost my mind when he played ‘Windows 95 On Acid’, which is simply a bone-chilling track in my opinion.

With Jason Ross hopping on stage next, the crowd knew it was time to stretch it out and get their dancing shoes ready. He played one powerful anthem after another and got the floor jumping up and down with tracks like ‘Higher Love’ and ‘The Gorge’. Again, yet another set over all too fast.

Have no fear though, the artist everyone was waiting for was up next — Ilan Bluestone. Blasting Anjuna classics and his own personal bangers was the name of his game. I don’t think a single person in the crowd could stop dancing during Ilan’s amazing performance. Jaws dropped when he played all-time favorite records like ‘Satellite’ by Above and Beyond and his own, ‘Will We Remain’. A truly unforgettable set by Ilan Bluestone is now imprinted in thousands of guests’ memories.

Finally, Audien was ready to close out the show with a bang and he did just that by rocking the crowd with tons of mash-ups of some of our favorite tracks — including big room bangers and trance anthems alike. What an astounding way to close out the night. Anjunabeats really outdid themselves with this one and NYC is thankful for the amazing night!

Good thing we don’t have to wait long for another round of Anjuna goodness with Anjunadeep taking over the Brooklyn Mirage for a second year in a row on Saturday, July 13th!
