The first thing on everyone’s mind is the weather. Detroit’s forecast can be extremely unpredictable. Last’s years fest had sweltering heat so can we expect the same for this year? The weather as of today looks pretty pleasant, high’s in the 70s and lows in the 50s with a hint of rain here and there. With that being said, basically, pack for all the seasons. Shorts, jeans, raincoats, hoodies, extra socks and everything in-between.
Movement Electronic Music Festival is open from 2P to Midnight Saturday, Sunday and Monday. And with the ending of the fest kinda early for us night owls, you may be wondering where I can find all the information on the after parties. And if I am arriving earlier in the week where are the preparties? Look no further my friends, we got you covered!
The festival has spared no expense by offering a variety of food options for your mouth-watering pleasure. From the famous chicken on a stick to falafel sandwiches, there are diverse selections for everyone. There will also be lockers for purchase, multiple ATMs available and free cell phone charging stations. If you have further questions on what you can and can not bring, check that out here.
The five stages in Hart Plaza will host the immense talent making their way to Detroit. Each stage has its own distinct personality and will be the backdrop for this magnificent festival. The production at Movement is outstanding and you will no doubt have an unforgettable experience.
