The long-awaited lineup for the 2019 Desert Hearts Festival finally dropped today, filled with well-known and up-and-coming party-starters alike. Plenty of favorites from Desert Hearts Records, including Andreas Henneberg, Atish, Dink!, Doc Martin, Evan Casey, Justin Campbell, Lubelski, Rybo and Tara Brooks, will return to the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation alongside the core crew of Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs and Porky.
Several other inclusions to dance and shout about include electro-disco house dignitary DJ Tennis, Aussie tech-house funkster Cut Snake (which Fisher was previously part of), and Dirtybird deep jammer Will Clarke. New Desert Hearts signee Shaded should deliver dancefloor mania as well, as his infectious bangers “Gucci Baggy” and “Trounce” from his debut EP on the label have received frequent, thrilling play at recent Desert Hearts shows.
Attendees have two-and-a-half weeks until the house, techno and love-driven party to listen up on all the artists they’re less familiar with, which the festival website makes easy by redirecting to the Soundcloud of each DJ upon clicking his or her name. Tickets to the intimate gathering sold out a few weeks after going on sale. For all those going, hit the local thrift stores up again as you plan your wacky outfits and costumes – especially if you don’t yet have a fur coat to stylishly keep you warm in the desert nights.
