by The Freaks - Staff

As we enter the final weeks of the year, one breakthrough artist is sharing a final goodie for us! Octavian recently released his new video for “Move Faster” pulling up the end of 2018. Even better, this immersive new video marks the end of a successful year for the 22-year old from South East . A rapper which recently culminated with his inclusion in the prestigious BBC Sound of 2019 longlist.

What does Octavian have in store for 2019?

Following the release of his critically-acclaimed SPACEMAN mixtape, Octavian recently announced a new headlining tour scheduled for the new year. With its chosen name, The EUROPEAN SPACE PARTY, this will be the rapper’s biggest headline tour to date. First kicking off in February, held in Paris, with dates & venues across Europe, including sold-out nights in London and Birmingham. This new run follows in the footsteps of Octavian’s most recent UK headline tour, in which tickets sold out in a matter of hours, even after venues were upgraded due to high demand.

Octavian’s SPACEMAN mixtape, released in September via Black Butter is a brilliant snapshot of where Octavian is at musically right now, as he continues to work on his full album expected to be released in 2019. It’s the culmination of an incredible year for the London-raised rapper; a year that has seen him release a string of crossover anthems like “100 Degrees, “Hands,” and his “Move Me” collaboration with Mura Masa. Described by Pitchfork as “the ultimate hybrid mixtape” amongst a host of other accolades, SPACEMAN features collaborations with the likes of Suspect, A2, Swift, and Krimbo alongside production from Octavian, J-Rick, Amir Amor (Rudimental), O12, Lil Silva and 19 year old, South East London newcomer Elevated.
