With EDC Orlando so close, all I can think about is what I am most enthusiastic about. Very soon I’ll be able to get lost in Neon Garden with all the amazing people who love music just as much as I do!
moodZONE:
Insomniac is always able to get festival attendees excited by announcing their curated stages. This year in Orlando we will get the Factory 93 experience at Neon Garden. Factory 93 is supposed to create an underground techno experience for ravers with a lineup of talented Techno & House DJs. On day one of EDC, Neon Garden will have “moodZONE” with Nicole Moudaber. I’m ready for the bass-heavy techno that Pan-Pot always delivers, and an awesome set from Patrick Topping.
Paradise:
One of my favorite parties that I have attended a few times in the past year is Paradise with Jamie Jones. Paradise always brings a great lineup full of funky house and techno. After seeing these artists many times in New York City I’m more than excited to hear them play live in Orlando. The Martinez Brothers always bring the noise with their extended sets in Brooklyn, and this will be the first time I am able to see them on stage with Jamie Jones. Recently I have pushed myself to attend shows early and catch the opening acts. During the last Paradise, I was able to catch Kevin Knapp who brought a groovy house set, and I can’t wait for his performance at EDC.
Boombox Art Car:
Checking out the smaller stages at a festival is very important to me. This is where I find new music to listen to, and new artists to follow. During last year’s EDC Orlando I decided to sit by the boombox art car to take a break from dancing, and I end up on my feet again because the boombox was full of energy. With all the headliners at the bigger stages sometimes festival goers miss out on what this stage has to offer. I’m ready to hear George Acosta’s classics set, hopefully when the sun goes down. The entire boombox lineup is full of artists I have not seen or heard before, which gets me extra pumped.
What are you most excited for at EDC Orlando? I look forward to seeing all of you there!
