The Calgary raised duo Chuurch unleashes ‘One Mind’, their first single off of their upcoming Uunion EP. They bring to the table a sound that is so eclectic and heavy that it just makes you wobble your head to the beat. Justin MacLean & Jeff Wilson comprise Chuurch and they are on a mission to bring you something fresh and new in dance music. The genre coined ‘Lean Bass’ by their fans is something dance music is lacking which is a new found sound.
Their music is something to be experienced live and they had this to say about it. “We think the best way for people to get a sense of our sound is in the living setting, so for the last two years we’ve been focused on making tracks that work for certain parts, telling stories with our sound,” MacLean and Wilson said. “Knowing something will work as a good intro or putting together edits of our own tracks to heighten the tension in the middle of a set, we’re always looking for ways to amplify the live show.
Be sure to keep an eye on this duo and the Uunion EP to drop March 23rd via NEST.
